Art Factory Marrakech
A contemporary art and design fair initiated by the IRFAN Foundation for Heritage. First edition: 3, 4 and 5 November 2028, Marrakech.
Where heritage meets modernity.
Art Factory Marrakech is conceived as a biennial platform celebrating the richness and diversity of today’s artistic expression, in dialogue with the aesthetic, craft and spiritual traditions of Morocco, the African continent and emerging international scenes.
It aims to build bridges between contemporary art, fine craftsmanship, the visual arts, digital cultures, living practices and ancestral rituals — celebrating transmission, creativity and the meeting of disciplines.
What the fair sets out to do
- Give visibility to artists, galleries, collectives and designers from Morocco, Africa and beyond
- Encourage dialogue between traditional scenes and emerging practices: artificial intelligence, immersive installations, environmental art
- Bring together creators, curators, researchers, collectors, institutions and the public
- Support the crafts and interdisciplinary approaches
- Foster regional and international cooperation: residencies, co-productions, curatorial exchanges
- Offer accessible educational programs: workshops, masterclasses, young people’s tours, mediation
